10,800 sq. ft. dyed and sealed concrete

dyed concrete

Has anyone ever dreamed of a barn, shed, garage, or hang out spot large enough to host guest, do projects, and park your cars? This homeowner in Cumming, Ga made his dream a reality! Our team had the pleasure to make his 10,800 sq. ft. space even better. This client wanted a durable finish that would repel against oil and other liquids that was also able to withstand heavy foot traffic and vehicles. Our team recommended an epoxy coating or a properly prepped floor with a urethane finish. The client loved the look and character that stained concrete had to offer and decided to go with a properly prepped floor with dyed concrete for the appearance and the industrial strength, high solids urethane concrete floor finish for durability.

First, we prepped the concrete with our diamond grinder to provide a smooth surface as well as open the pores in the concrete for the dye to fully saturate into the surface. We always say the key to a GREAT stained concrete floor is all in the prep work! Next, we repaired the cracks and divots and then applied the dye. Lastly, we had to ensure it would be an extremely durable surface. We applied two coats of urethane to protect the surface from scratching, oil, scuffing, and create an easy to clean surface.
